Volunteer with us!!
Volunteering is Fun and Educational!!
- Begun in 1989, The Tobay Beach Dune Stabilization Project has been an immensely popular volunteer project for residents of all ages.
- Held on a Saturday in March, residents join with Town officials and crews to plant dune grass, which helps stabilize and enlarge the dunes by catching blowing and drafting sand.
- Generous donors supply coffee, hot chocolate, clam chowder and donuts for volunteers.
- By volunteering for the Tobay Dune Stabilization Project, you can look forward to a few hours of planting and fun while you help preserve Tobay Beach.
2010 Dune Stabilization has been scheduled for Saturday, March 20, 2010, starting at 10:00 a.m.
We will contact you a week before the event with further information...
