Mission Statement
The mission of the Miles for Matt Foundation is to support the educational journey of students, their development through sports activities and recreational safety in public venues in memory of Matthew Scarpati (19), who was killed by an adult driving under the influence. The Foundation advances this mission primarily through its work in education, athletics and medical research and strives to continue the interests and goals that Matt held.The Miles for Matt Foundation
The Miles For Matt Foundation was established in 2010. The foundation has been formally approved as a non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Funds raised by the Foundation are used exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes. Donations to the Foundation are tax deductible to the extent of the law, but please consult with your accountant or tax advisor regarding the deductibility of any donations.
